Inmate Visitation

Inmate Visitation

Inmate visitation hours are on a block schedule (click to see visitation schedule). You will have to sumbmit your request to visit an inmate for intial approval. This can be done at the kiosk or online. The visitation kiosks area located in the main lobby of the Law Enforcement Building. Visitations can also be done remotely through Inmate Canteen . Visitations are limited to 20 minutes and no more than two visits a day per visitor unless otherwise approved. 

All newly admitted inmates are issued one free calling card to enable them to call family and friends. Calling cards can also be purchased through canteen by the inmate or on Inmate Canteen by family or friends for the inmate.

There is also an inmate message line that family and friends can leave a message on for an inmate. The number is 218-416-1120. Correction Officers do not take messages for inmates unless it is an emergency.

*Inmates on a disciplinary status will not be allowed non-professional visits. They will be allowed to continue attorney, clergy and other professional visitation.
